Help yourself

Today, my boyfriend took me to a very elegant and expensive restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. When it came to the check, I volunteered to pitch in half, which he rejected by saying, "I got it". Little did I know was that "I got it" was short for "I got your credit card." FML

Although men aren't required to pay, taking your credit card is just rude. He needs to at least be honest instead of saying "I got it."

Yep, time to put a padlock on your purse!

So in fact, you took him out and he gave you an expensive credit card bill... They say paper is the traditional 1st anniversary gift. How sweet

Oh wow. This is what causes woman to think us men are all ****! I sure hope you kicked his ass to the curb.

Women think us men are ****? *trying to hide my moobs*

Why did you sign the credit card slip? Or did he? In case of the latter, it would be a problem of the company that did not check who was card holder.

That's really bad OP. That's nothing else than theft and fraud. You really need to have a serious discussion about it with him, although for me, that'd a deal breaker.

If I were you in your situation I would ask him for at least half of it back. If he refused, he's probably a douche.

Time to start locking up your credit cards.
