Hit and run

Today, my friend and I were eating in my car in a McDonald's parking lot, when an angry, drunk man stumbled out of the restaurant and into his car. He then hit the McDonald's wall, turned around and sped straight into my car. I only bought it a week ago. FML

I never understood this :( if you're that drunk do everyone a favor and walk to where you need to be. I know public intoxication but at least it's better than running a family off the road. I know too many people that been messed up either from being a drunk driver or because of a drunk driver. Never worth it. Hopefully that guy learns his lesson and OP I hope you're fine.

I'd rather eat in my car than in a McDonalds. Also, how messy do you eat? If you're clean and don't eat like a pig, it's not like it gets everywhere. If it's the smell, just get some air freshener. I fail to see how it's disgusting.

Does the FML team not edit submissions anymore? I mean, it's a little thing, but they used to be good about catching those minor grammar/sentence structure mistakes. Now I see them pretty much every day. It's not going to destroy my reading experience or anything, but it is a little distracting.

How do you guys eat McDonald's? I'm no expert at eating. Not what people would call an eatist so maybe I just don't understand this. Are you guys taking apart the burgers and rubbing everything on the seats? Stuffing fries in the vents? Do you guys not realize that people with functioning motor skills are able to eat in a car without crapping their pants?

It ruins the new car smell, and can cause stains. Any car lover like me would never do something like this.

Hey its the OP. He was actually way too drunk to drive away. He passed out right after hitting me and got arrested on the spot. My car on the other hand, is completely ******.

You deserve it for not stopping an obviously drunk man from getting into a car. You noticed him, and knowing that he could potentially kill people, you didn't stop him.
