Huh?

Today, I went to a restaurant for lunch. The waiter brought some bread and I started eating it as I waited for him to take my order. When he approached me he looked at me and said, "Don't eat too much bread honey. It'll make you fatter." Not fat, fatter. I never thought of myself as fat. FML

People like that always say "I am just being honest." It is like honest to who? I didn't ask your opinion and you are being paid to serve me. Nothing more annoying than people with no emotional boundries that suffer from complete mental maturity working in the service industery. Someone needs to teach him manners and common sense. What he thinks is "advice" is pretentious and trite.

after just getting out of a horrible night working at a restaurant, where people demand baskets and baskets and BASKETS of our bread and fill up on just that, running me to death for nothing, i'm thinking that waiter is pretty smart to nip it early in the meal. lol i might consider saying this to some of my customers in the future.

Wow, talk about out of line! **** him. Who cares what he thinks? I hope you gave him a crummy tip for it. Without seeing you, I know you're fatter than people on tv, in magazines, etc. Because those women pay thousands for personal trainers and have people to make them look like stick figures, whether through makeup or photoshop. Ignore him.

That's not even his place to tell you wat to eat... also, dont give him a tip... actually your tip could be "hey YOU'RE waiting on ME, so mind your own fking buisness!"

I'm thinking this isn't true. What kind of waiter insults his customers? If this really happened, that waiter is a complete moron. What he said was completely rude and inappropriate; report him.
