Hush

Today, my boyfriend was having a really bad day, so I decided to call him and try to calm him down. At one point, I thought it would be sweet to sing him a song since he claimed to love my voice. Before I could get half way through, he told me to shut up because I was getting on his nerves and just making things worse. FML

Just because he likes your voice doesn't mean you can sing.

Don't Sing, Either Bake a Chicken or take your clothes off, that would have been a better idea...

i'm amazed by the people who post here; i really can't comprehend what sort of relationships you must have. it always cheers me up when my boyfriend sings to me, and he loves when i sing, even though i suck. your boyfriend sucks, OP.

Never sing to someone when they're having a bad day, especially with the attempt of calming them down.

I'd have just done the polite thing and hung up. You would have probably finished your song by the time you figured it out. Then I would have blamed my phone service and asked you to sing again. You'd be sorta off put and confused making an encore pretty unlikely. Here's a tip: Try listening when someone is frustrated and needs to vent instead of breaking into song like you're getting dropped off by the short bus while holding a pink balloon.

Who sings to people over the phone? I'm annoyed and i didn't even have to hear it.

Don't sing when someone's having a bad day.

Who the hell feels "comforted" by someone singing?!

my gf could well sing close to a professional level and i wouldnt like her singing to me when im pissed/annoyed. its your boyfriend, not your kindergarden kid.
