Hush

Today, my boyfriend was having a really bad day, so I decided to call him and try to calm him down. At one point, I thought it would be sweet to sing him a song since he claimed to love my voice. Before I could get half way through, he told me to shut up because I was getting on his nerves and just making things worse. FML

Just because he likes your voice doesn't mean you can sing.

Epitome of women being annoying. YDI. When someone's upset and has had a bad day, the last thing they want to hear is someone singing to them to "calm them down". STFU already.

Lol, this is great. I personally would hate someone bursting into song everytime i had a bad day. I probably would have had a go at her until she was either more upset then me or left. So the lesson for OP is: don't sing to cheer people up, you just suck at it. YDI

Why do I get the feeling that if this were a guy singing to his girlfriend, everyone would be like "You were just trying to be romantic! What a heartless bitch!" instead of making all these ridiculously rude comments about moaning during sex? My boyfriend sometimes ASKS me to sing to him when he's nervous or had a bad day - maybe that's how it usually went with this couple, but his day was particularly bad this time. Good luck getting laid (for free) if you all treat women like this.

#118 You probably get that feeling because you're an idiot. When someone (read: male OR FEMALE) is having a bad day, trying to soothe them and calm them like you would a 6 month old is not the best option.

Okay, as a woman, I can honestly say YDI on this. Seriously, was she trying to calm him the way she would a baby? That would be irritating, especially on top of a really bad day. It's not that he's inconsiderate, it's not about her, after all. If you sing to me when I'm already having a bad day, yeah, I would bite your head off too. Maybe he just wanted to be treated like an adult who's having a bad day?

Yeah I have to agree with you on this one aleks. If my hubby is having a bad day the last thing he wants is me singing to him (I wouldnt even think of inflicting that kind of pain to my 15month old), instead I'd listen to him vent his anger, and then let him chill out either playing COD or going out for a blat on his bike.

OP: remember this ladies: if your guy is having a bad day, say you love him with some lingerie and a bj. always brings a smile to my face. :D
