Intervention

Today, my friends sat me down and said they were concerned I was self-harming. I don't self-harm, I'm just a massive klutz. They don't believe me, and want me to get professional help. And now, because I found it all so funny, they think I'm mentally unhinged. FML

Seriously have you read most of the FMLs on this site? Be glad you have friends that actually care about you.

at leasst they care :) -count your blessing cause some friends don't give a (bleep) and ignore you.

you do too, cause no good friends would let you go out or take pictures making you look like a hooker. (:

Alright, and...? Flaunt your queer side, baby!

lol, this fml made me chuckle. You are lucky, you have caring friends. And trust me, I know all about being a klutz - just last night I was jumping around in my apartment, mocking my boyfriend when somehow I landed on my little toe, twisting it. Needless to say, he laughed himself stupid.

If you were a big a klutz as you say you are, you would have learned long ago how to fall properly so as not to leave any marks or do any real damage.

Wait, what? That makes no sense. Being a klutz myself, I end up with marks and bruises without even noticing how they got there.

I'm also a huge klutz, and have long ago learned how to take a fall so I can minimize damage to myself.

If you can "learn how to fall" then can't you learn how not fall in the first place? Besides, falling isn't the only way to get marks. I may be a klutz, but I don't fall. I end up running into things.

Both me and my mom are clumsy, and, like the other person on this thread (#132?), I know clumsiness isn't always falling. I'm covered in bruises on my hips and shins from running into things.
