You nasty people. I had debt collectors calling me because I was laid off three weeks before a back surgery that failed and led to another back surgery that left my legs paralyzed. I literally had to learn to walk again. I'm back at work after two years, but my GOD, people, aren't we all just filled with the milk of human kindness here. Would you all want to be surrounded by people just like you in your time of need????

YDI, only because if the debt collector calls you every day and you don't want them to, notify them in writing to stop. They legally have to under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Unless you enjoy the calls, in which case turn yourself in to the nearest mental hospital.
