Exactly. I know a guy who's dad has severe back pain (even after multiple surgeries) and it has kept him from working and now he is going bankrupt. A woman my mom works with needs gallbladder surgery but cant get it because the health insurance that their job offers is crappy (luckily we're covered under my stepdads insurance so my mom didn't have to get her jobs crappy insurance). But I guess a naive middle class suburban teenager who gets everything they want wouldn't realize that. Or someone who listens to stupid Glenn Beck fueled propaganda that "the only people with money and insurance problems are illegal immigrants and minorities on welfare."

I like you guys. You made me feel better about my overwhelming medical debt. Which, as a side note, is the only kind of debt I have :)

Don't feel bad, my nephew just turned 3 and he finally started talking to me. Until now he ran and hid behind his mother every time I did so much as look at him. I guess at least now I can feel better that he didn't hit me... abused by a toddler. That is just sad.
