Today, my toddler found my daughter's recorder from third grade and figured out how to play the highest-pitched note. Of course, my daughter pulls out her trombone to have a jam session. And I'm out of Ibuprofen. FML

If you children are being obnoxious, you could tell them to stop. If I was making a tremendous amount of noise my mom would tell me to stop.

The good thing is that they are trying out music. Everyone knows a beginner isn't all that good. At least they are having fun. I do however feel bad about the headache it gives you. Kids will be kids, though.

Her recorder was from third grade. She sounds older than that now.

I think you misread the FML. The recorder is from 3rd grade. Now the kid is obviously older and moved on to trombone.
