The nurses have definitely seen that sort of thing before and the other patients probably had other stuff on their minds on account of being in the ICU. It sucks for your dad, sure, but it’s not the end of the world
Please explain to me in detail where in my post I even remotely implied that.
“I can’t give much detail” meaning you made shit up wholesale and are trying to make that my problem instead of yours, got it.
His genitals came out because they heard they were in the "I see you."
There is a simple reason for those God-awful hospital gowns - It’s so the patient’s body is accessible to the nurses and physicians for treatment, bed pans, and medical observation. Having been in the ICU myself, I can say that at that point in your hospital stay the patient is generally not so concerned about privacy as they are about survival. Generally most ICU rooms are private (one patient per room) and usually only get one visitor at a time (besides the medical staff). So privacy is not usually an issue - The medical staff has seen it all before. Yes, I hate those awful gowns. But sometimes you have no choice.
I don't know how old your dad is but I've been there done that before. Except it was my 95 year old grandpa I was taking care of. Between him being 95 and me having been in and out of hospitals no ***** were given.
