Today, the girl I'm in love with invited me to stay with her in Europe for 2 weeks, she's even paying for the flights and accommodation. It's because I'm such a special friend to her, and she wants me to come up to meet her fiancé before she gets married. FML

that sucks, but i mean you could be in love with this girl and NOT be in europe. at least youre getting a free trip out of it, so you get to be miserable internationally. buck up, maybe youll meet some fine european ladyfriend

I've actually had something similar to this happen to me.... Guy I was in love with offered to take me to Paris for new years, we weren't in a relationship because he "wasnt ready to date" after his previous relationship. I declined the trip because I couldn't afford it and I didn't want to feel like I was taking advantage of him because he had a trust fund and a LOT of money. He had started taking steriods in secret a couple months before the scheduled trip, and about a week before he was going to leave for home for christmas (I was meeting him in paris), he had a roid rage incident where he started throwing things at me and accusing me of taking advantage of him. maybe I should make my own FML....

things that can make a grown man cry. that sucks man, i was afraid i was about to be in a similar situation with a girl i love. but she finally broke up with the guy and i make my move tomorrow.

Awww, the Friend Zone? Yeah, your life is ******. I wouldn't count you out yet though, like some others have said, you can always do the movie thing and tell her how you really feel at that critical moment, if you're feeling up to it. If you're not down for that, then Hell, go for the free trip, shit. You might even meet someone new while you're there. :)

this happened to me. a girl i've been crushing on for months finally fell for my best friend. they happily told me about this new relationship, and well u can imagine how i felt. after a while, we talked and we all made up. i'm best friends with them again. u'll get over this soon buddy, i promise, thats bcuz she loves u as a friend and will refuse to see u "moving on" when ur still hurt.
