Today, my boyfriend invited me over, so I went, not thinking anything of it. To my surprise, he broke up with me. I was pretty upset, and as I was leaving his mom handed me a box. When I got home, I opened it. His mom had baked me a break-up cake. FML

Today, my boyfriend, and best friend, had baked a cake, and wouldnt tell anyone who it was for. When I asked he said I'd know soon. He met me after class to break up with me and offered me the cake to make me feel better. FML

Today, I got a phone call from my mother asking me if I was okay. Confused, I asked her what she meant. She then told me that my boyfriend had broken up with me, and she just wanted to make sure I was handling it alright. I had to find out my relationship was over from my mom. FML

at least you know his mum likes you! My boyfriends mum hates me and wants to get me as far away from her son as possible! She'd probably bake herself a break up cake..that's if she could cook anything that wasnt a readymeal...yeah, I went there. Mothers are a pain in the butt, become friends with this woman, she sounds nice :)

That's retarded. The guy obviously wanted to break up with her to her face. There's nothing wrong with that, but he could have gone over to hers for it, but then his mum couldn't have given her the break up cake. It would have been arkward if the guy had given her the cake. His mum sounds cool.
