Knowledge is power

Today, on my shift as a nurse, I asked a pregnant woman what she would name her child. She said she saw the name "Chlamydia" on a billboard and decided to name her daughter that, saying it was "beautiful." I informed her that it was an STD, and she replied, "Oh, well no one knows that!" FML

I once heard of a woman reading her medical chart after giving birth and decided to call her girl a word in it for a smart name: ******. "Vay-GENE-a" the doctor explained she can't do that and the definition on the word and which body part. The mother said: "That's not a ******, that's a hoochie!"

FYL? Tch, F*ck her daughters future. Poor kid.

This may come as a surprise but this isn't the first time i heard this.

Didn't this also happen in the movie Waiting?

Your life doesn't suck, necessarily. But the baby's is going to.

If she's that dumb, I'm amazed that she pronounced it right. Geeze...and she's already reproduced *facepalm*.

As bad as it would be for that child, you should have just let her proceed with her cruel plans. If she is dumb enough to do that then she should have to be abhorred by her child for the rest of her life.

Another perfect reason why parenting should not be a inalienable right, and should however be a privilege.
