His new girlfriend was probably the one who texted you back. Next time you want to be brave call. You'll even get to hear his voice when the message picks up. Better yet move on. You didn't say anything when all that stuff happened he definitely won't care now.

In these situations it's better to write out your feelings but delete the message.

You should've messaged him on FB or use a phone for what it's actually for like calling someone. Then you wouldn't have felt so bad. I understand the pains of breakups as much as the next person but you have to understand him reading that would've helped nothing. If he didn't think he was wrong then why would he think that and apologize now?? This is a unique FYL and YDI. Sorry OP..
