You mean your newest-Ex, as she made it clear y'all are done. It sux that you lost your job, but it shows that she was using you as her bank and that there was no real connection. Don't give up on this blessing in disguise. Spend as much time looking / applying for jobs as you would have spent (or expect to spend) working. Get a better job and block her on all platforms.
With this attitude, good riddance ! Not a FML, but a victory !
It’s January 2023, so I would just say that while I’m sorry for these shitty things happening, it’s also the year and time to turn things around. Look at it this way—that person sounds horrible, narcissistic and immature so you’re better off. As for the job maybe it’s a blessing in disguise that you will find better, somewhere that you deserve and that actually deserves you. I know it’s hard but through times of serious struggle is when we learn the most, and after such periods are usually periods of sunshine where our hard work pays off. You’ll get to the job, partner, and life that you want, just keep going!
think of it as the universe is taking things out of your life to open up opportunities for you to follow your path without that toxic asshole 😉
Time to warn your replacement perhaps? Unless they already know about you, in which case they deserve it.
