Today, my daughter learned that if she rips a toy out of its package in front of a store employee, mommy will be forced to buy it. She now has two new toys today. FML

Just pay and leave the toys in the shop. Also punish her for being a brat.

Good grief lady. learn how to discipline your kid. you don't let her keep the damn toys. if you have to pay for them you do so and then donate them to kids who need them. bad bad parenting.

Shoot! I would not tolerate that behavior. I would hold onto the toys until Christmas and gift it too the child then or just out and out throw the toys away.

I'm wondering why the store couldn't have just taped the box back together, but more importantly, why did you give this spoiled, entitled thief the toys you were forced to pay for? They should be given to charity or thrown away. She should be taught that that type of behavior is not to be rewarded.
