Locked out

Today, my girlfriend left for basic training. I went to say goodbye to her at the airport. Only after I walked back to my car did I realize that she still had the keys. My extra set was back at the house, locked in. FML

Well, that's gonna be a very expensive journey to get your keys back.

Well, you'd better not criticize her for her stupidity and thoughtlessness, because when she gets back, she will be able to kick your ass. Then, you can live in fear of her, happily ever after.

Does that mean she was driving? Yeah... we know who wears the pants here. LoL, nothing wrong w/ that though. Her life will probably suck more than yours in the coming weeks.

Too bad you and your girlfriend have never heard of cell phones. She would have been reminded she had them when going through the gate and emptying her pockets. Maybe she thinks you will stay out of trouble if you don't have a car while she's gone.

You can't bring cell phones to boot camp. If you do they confiscate them once you get there and charge you to send it back to your family. I'm guessing OP's girlfriend decided to spare herself the trouble and expense.

Sorry. Cell phone didn't exist when I was in boot.

You never thought to have a spare key attached to the outside of your car or a spare key to your house attached to the outside of your house!

Why the hell would you put spare keys in those places? Those are literally the worst places to have them, because then they're accessible to everyone.

Kick down the door, break a window, or call a locksmith. There are plenty of options, you know...

Well, looks like you'll be a hobo for the next 2 to 3 months, depending on what branch she joined. Hope you like garbage and body odor!

That really sucks, I am so sorry. Maybe you have someone you can call for help?

LockSmith's work wonders in times like those

Locksmith is great to get in but what about starting it?
