Trust is the foundation of a good relationship, yes it has to do with putting your heart out on the line but if you truely love the person they will not go behind your back. If she's accusing you of a simple logical thing (that the spam folder is full of bs) then that's not a good sign for down the road. I would be careful op, if she can't trust you but you trust her it will only be a one sided relationship/she could take advantage (as many said the accuser may actually be guilty of hiding something) and she may make accusations more frequent

Like others have said, people who are so quick to accuse someone of cheating may be guilty of it themselves. I think they think that if they're the one pointing the finger that that eliminates them as a suspect, or they do it out of guilt. Either way, if she has that little trust for you (and that little sense that the spam folder is full of bullshit), that's not a good sign. I am a female and have been getting spam e-mails from "horny women in my area", Nigerian princes, and people trying to scam me out of Rolex watches, Viagra, cruises, etc. since I was about 16 years old. I even had someone pretend to be the IRS once. If I could figure out it was bunk at 16, your girlfriend should be able to as well (assuming she's over 16, of course).

Ah, I see what happened here. She was told in the past to watch out for e-mail 'scams' where people 'cheat' you out of your money and that you should just put them in the 'spam' folder. When she gained access to your e-mail and saw the 'spam' folder, her brain went "Oh, where those cheaters are put....or something.....wait! OMG!!! My boyfriend is such an asshole player cheater!"
