Hey! At least you heard back! Sick of being ignored while job hunting
reasons why you're not suitable for that job are also probably reasons why you're suitable for a better job so don't get too upset over it OP :)
That's so harsh! Waste of both ur time. What did u say?!
"Here are all the responsibilities for the job that we are not giving you"
Sorry to hear that op. Not the best confidence booster. But could you imagine working for an asshole company like that if that's what the job interview is like?
I go through a similar thing when im at an interview but the difference being is how they always say how over qualified I am and the proceed to ask why im looking for employment with such a terrific work history or my favorite question is "So do you plan on just punching the clock for the last few years you'll be working?"...I'm 41 no where near retirement age. ..FML
I would have hung up not even 30 seconds into the rejection part.
Keywords
It was nice of them to deliver such a personal rejection, I mostly just get automated letters or nothing at all. But maybe this was a bit over the top..
Take their feedback and adjust your presentation and resume for future applications to similar jobs. Drop them a letter thanking them for the frank assessment and advise them you are are making the changes they suggested and you hope they will reconsider you in the future That type of initiative could get you reconsidered later,if the person they hired doesn't complete the probationary period, or considered for other openings later Management looks for people that can reflect, learn and adapt Good luck with your search, you got passed the screening of resumes to the interview stage, so you are on the right track
