Just wear a mask like Bart did in the Simpsons. Also, it's not really something to be ashamed of. A lot of guys do it regardless of the stereotypes. A boy I was in school with used to dance at our school shows all the time.
depending on the routine they may be wearing masks anyways. and I don't get these steriotypes our school has ballet for athletes to help with coordination ability and balance.
I totally agree #34. >.>
And you didn't know your school's name?
What
Prettyyy sure he meant that he saw his schools name on an upcoming performance sheet. Not that he went to a performance and realized it was his school. Reading comprehension is awesome.
His first thoughts were probably happy until he realized where it was, and thats cool your from Italy iv always wanted to vacation there.
There was a free ballet show at my local amphitheater so my pals and I decided to watch the show. A male ballet dancer started performing and one of my friends jokingly pointed out the "package" which distracted the people around us. Evidently the performer's mother was behind us and heard. (This reminds me of an fml). So here's the plan OP, ignore the jokers, like my friend, and give the chicks a show.
Hey, dance all you like and be proud of it! Male dancers are sexy as ****, so go and do what you love.
Own that shit and stop being a pussy! People can't make fun of you for something you're proud of. Also, sprinkle in a "I'm gay but curious" and I'm sure that'll get you somewhere with the ladies.
I'm a female, but one of the guys I danced with made a very good point by saying this when accused of being gay and being bullied. "in almost every class I take I am the only guy, that means no competition. Not only do I get to lift these perfectly fit girls by their ass, but I also watch them stretch in all different positions and see how flexible they are, all while they're in just a sports bra and spandex shorts, yeah, that sounds SUPER gay". He's trained in new york at just 15 years old, and quite frankly I'm pretty sure he really is gay, but he made a damn good point as to why straight guys dance and I'm certain he would be honored if you used his words.
Right though, I met my perfectly straight boyfriend through dance.
Why not see it as an opportunity ? What if people would like what you do and you just keep your talents to yourself ?
