Today, I was at Walmart when I saw my grandpa in the next aisle looking at magazines. Wanting to surprise him, I ran up behind him and hugged him around the middle. Up close, I realized he wasn't my grandpa. FML

I had the same thing happen to me at my daughter's high school graduation. I came up from behind to hug and congratulate her but it wasn't her. Fortunately, it was one of her friends and she had a good sense of humor about it.

I think everyone has made a similar mistake in their lives. My friend ran up behind a girl and slapped her butt really hard thinking it was me.

When I was like 7 we were in the game place in Walmart and my brother was playing a car game and I ran out sat on his lap and said let me play. Turns out it wasn't my brother
