Major annoyance

Today, I'm a college student working at Dollar Tree. The signs hanging every 10 ft, plastered on every box, every wall, every corner, say "Everything's $1." Someone asked me how much something was, because there was no price tag. This happens multiple times a day. FML

I'm sorry but did anyone ask?

I think you need to hang more "Everything's $1" signs.

That's a terrible idea. That means people will get slapped in the face by "everything's $1" signs on their way to ask how much something costs.

No, I think dollar tree should play on its speakers someone saying "one dolla" on repeat.

#14 Op just need to put a sign in front of him/her, if anyone want to bother op, he will see the sign before asking. Or op can point to the sign and ask politely, 'can you read ?'

Some people are to lazy to read and just ask the most obvious questions even when it's plastered right in front of there face

True. I used to work in a store where the public washroom and the customer service desk were both right next to the entrance, and people would come in, walk right past the washroom door and the big sign hanging above it, and ask at the service desk where the washroom was. This usually happened at least 2-3 times in a 6 hour shift, every day. People just don't bother looking around at all.

Ask management for a teeshirt for you to wear saying, "Yes everything in the store is a $1." :)

And a hat! don't forget the hat haha

16 - It should have the word "Idiots..." written in fine print somewhere on the back.

Given the society we live in, people will only see the fine print, and get terribly offended. Then, when they go to buy a legal pad to write a letter to their lawyers, guess what they're going to ask the cashier?

I work at a store where every week we choose a color to be 1/2 off. There are signs seriously EVERYWHERE and yet I get asked about 20 times a day, "what's the color today?" We even announce it every five mins!! Retail sucks

Patience is a virtue my friend. If you can stand this you can stand anything :)

Some people could look up and then still ask you if the sky is blue. Sorry op working retail sucks.

dollar stores nowadays have stuff that costs more than a dollar!

Dollar stores yes, dollar tree no. their whole thing is that EVERYTHING is a dollar.
