Today, my 8-year-old son eagerly showed me a PowerPoint he made. It consisted of REALLY graphic and gory descriptions of a guy getting murdered, complete with pictures from the internet. He was laughing the whole time he was showing me this, and even set one of the images as his desktop background. FML

Today, my son came home saying there had been a bad accident where two people died in a crash. This sounded terrible but he then said, "Yeah, I took pictures. Wanna see the bodies? They’re disgusting." Everyone in the house except me jumped up to look at those poor dead people. I raised savages. FML

Today, I saw a folder on my son's PC named "PussyPictures". I sat him down for a talk, only to be told they contained pictures of the James Bond character Pussy Galore, for his essay about sexism in movies. He's now mocking me for "having a dirty mind". FML

Today, there was a meeting at work, during which I had to give a presentation to my boss and other attendants. The first subject I had to tackle was how my 5 year-old son got to my briefcase and replaced its contents with some crayons and a fluffy teddy bear. FML

Today, I showed my girlfriend some old home videos of me as a kid. My dad must have taped over one though, because halfway through it cut to extremely graphic footage of his colonoscopy. FML

Today, I got an angry call from my 7-year-old son's school. It turned out that while doing a "what I want to be when I'm older" assignment, he wrote that he wants to be an internet troll so he can make people mad and make them kill themselves. FML

Umm that screams all sorts of red flags your kid needs to be evaluated buy a psychiatrist that is sociopathic or psychopathic behavior, if he had just showed you that would be morbid curiosity but add the eagerness and hysterical laughing and thats socio or psycho behavior.

So your child is either a psychopath, or he's just being really weird. I used to write graphic stories, very detailed tales of murder and just honestly, odd shit and my mom used to get calls home all the time about my concerning behavior. I can't even squish a fly. I rescue drowning bugs out of creeks, and I could never imagine inflicting harm on another creature for no reason. however I laugh more than I probably should at horror movies and disturbing scenes. You need to talk to your son, and if he keeps being a straight up psycho, consider trying to turn him into Dexter.
