Aww that was nice of you to do.
Well try having a half screen phone!! I can hardly see the top! Swings are evil!
Had u told him u broke up?
#27 you're a complete tool And perhaps you should have said to begin with when he first mentioned her? :(
#27: "An hour" is correct. In the word "hour", the "h" is silent, so the first sound of the word is a vowel sound. Also, state schools tend to be less full of pretentious dickheads, so I'll take my state school above your private school any day.
OP, you're adorable. I think what you did was really kind. It's not like you were "being a tool" and letting some jerk pick at old wounds, you were indulging your grandfather and letting him think that he was sharing something special with you. And in effect, I'm sure it was very special to him. #27 you're a moron. That's not one of those "crazy English grammar" rules that was created ten years ago and will change again in two, that's one of those rules that is taught when someone is learning the English language. I would be curious how you make it through a typical day. Frequent a lot of dark corners, do you?
# 26 it'sFML not a grammar contest And good story tell it again
lol. You know, the OP is correct, you're the one with the grammar mistake. It's An hour because the h is silent. Don't believe me? Go ask to your local university's head of the English Department. Karma sucks doesn't it?

Ahh, that sucks! :( You should have just told him lol...he wouldn't be mad. But it's not as bad as when my grandfather (of blessed memory) had dementia and asked me and my cousin where his brother was. His brother was shot and killed many years ago when the two of them were exiting the hardware store they co-owned. He died in front of my grandfather. And the thief was after whatever he'd had in his bag, which turned out to just be gym clothes. He was never caught. Little 13-year-old me had to explain all that to him...and watch his face fall as he tried to remember it. It wasn't fun :(.
I am sure he remembered a little bit more than you think he does :p Old men do get bored after all
