MOVE!

Today, the car in front of me in the drop-off area at my son's school parked, and the driver got out. I basically leaned on my horn and gave her every dirty look in the book. She said nothing but stared at me as she opened the back of her van to unload her child's wheelchair. I'm an asshole. FML

Yes you are a little, maybe next time count to ten and think. But it could have happened to anyone else too, so don't be too hard on you

I was jut moderating FMLs and saw "today I was dropping my son off and got out of the car to help him and someone leaned on their horn. My son is in a wheelchair!"

It's kind of your fault, but at least you learned a valuable life lesson. And judging her reaction, I'm sure she's gotten it before.

I think it's sad how this fast paced world makes people lack patience. Honking is one thing. But giving dirty looks NEVER makes you any better than the people offending you in other situations. So avoid dirty looks. It's rude, mean & pathetic. You'll never come off as an ass if you avoid trying to "give every dirty look in the book" to people who piss you off. It prevents situations like this. I don't fully respect you because you were trying to be mean, even if you admit to being an ass.

Was this at Adams Middle School in Nebraska

If this was true, you would be an asshole. However, the version I read on the moderate page was supposedly from the mom who was helping her wheelchair bound son out of the car. A little too similar, no?

No your not, she should have parked in a parking spot.
