I don't understand why everyone is saying to break up with him... it's not like he said she couldn't come sit with them. If I went to the movies on a date with my man and he saw his friends, I would just assume we'd sit by them. OP should have just gone and sat by them. Problem solved.
You assume his friends would've been cool with her coming to sit with them ? Sometimes the friends just want to hang out with the guy not have the girlfriend tag along. Plus it's a date. That just sucks to be ditched by your boyfriend.
Bro's before ho's
Sounds like something my ex would do... dump him.
Find yourself a BF who's not a closet homosexual.
Did you even entertain the thought of joining him?
It's clear only one of you thought you were involved in a relationship. It's too easy to fault the guy for being a jerk. But were they in a real relationship, or was it a simple movie date? Not enough information here to make a judgment call. things would be more clearer if the following question can be answered, Was the OP hot?
Even if it was just a date, it was still a rude move. Maybe she didn't feel comfortable enough around his friends to just incite herself over there.
