maybe he's still been hanging out with whoever it was that he cheated on you with but he would tell his mom he was hanging out with you so that she wouldn't ask questions. so then maybe she just asked him about you and he claimed you broke up with him. so she would have just found out about it. or something.

She knew we'd broken up..i don't think it was her purpose to go to my school and pick a fight with me. She probably was there for something else, saw me, and decided to take a shot.
