That's awesome! I was going to say what a lot of folks said, if she's not a girl who can appreciate that (or at least not just walk off after you said it, how rude), she's not worth your time. Then again, I'm a geek girl and I think a guy with an Indy jacket would be awesome. Hat too!
Here's how I would have done the conversation. "Ahh, it's embarrasing..." Her: she insists on knowing "Oh, you're so gonna make fun of me for it!" Her: insists some more "Okay, it's an Indiana Jones jacket" But I would never wear any kind of a replica jacket. Haven't seen the movies either.
This is something where I have to say, FYL, and FHL for not realizing the awesomeness of Indy.
She just sounds rude. I think that's awesome!
Dude, there's nothing wrong with what you said; She's just a bitch. FYL indeed.
I would soak my panties if I saw a man ANYWHERE wearing Indy's jacket. What a dumb ho.
I have a replica Raiders jacket as well but I never normally tell anyone I meet where I got it. If they do ask I usually tell then I had it made by a company in the UK, which is the truth. I'll tell them if they push or once I know them better. Every once in a while I run in to someone that recognizes the jacket. Those are the cool people to hang out with.

ahem.... not that I would care ... but where did you get this jacket?
