Not a big deal. I've done that on purpose. I love versatile clothing! Plus, it's unique--you'll never run into someone else with the same top. Next time someone asks, tell her you did it on purpose because you're into designing your own clothes.

Play it as a boss, sure it's a skirt but it probably looks way better as a top. Hell I've seen some skirts I'd wear as a top. I dress to impress myself, no one else.

maybe she was jealous she didnt think of it? some skirts are so form fitting that you can totally pass them off as tube tops. then again, maybe she had nithing better to do that try to embarrass somebody. keep rocking it!

If you like to wear it as a top who cares? Unless like in that case someone had the same one no one would know. Wear it how you want to wear it, I bet you rocked it as a tube top.

To be fair, when tube-tops first came out, I thought they were skirts! I was soooo embarrassed when I was told that the 'skirt' I was trying on was really a top! >_<
