How do you mistake a skirt for a tube top?
Here, i'll troll by posting something with no relation to the current topic, but that is relative to another fml: YDI FOR HAVIGN A DOG
I actually ALWAYS confuse tubetops with skirst. "Is this supposed to be a top..or a skirt.."
Herpes simplex (from the Greek ἕρπης /΄erpis/, "snake") is a viral disease caused by herpes simplex viruses; both herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) cause herpes simplex. Infection with the herpes virus is categorized into one of several distinct disorders based on the site of infection. Oral herpes, the visible symptoms of which are colloquially called cold sores, infects the face and mouth. Oral herpes is the most common form of infection. Genital herpes, commonly known simply as herpes, is the second most common form of herpes. Other disorders such as herpetic whitlow, herpes gladiatorum, ocular herpes (keratitis), cerebral herpes infection encephalitis, Mollaret's meningitis, neonatal herpes, and possibly Bell's palsy are all caused by herpes simplex viruses. Herpes viruses cycle between periods of active disease—presenting as blisters containing infectious virus particles—that last 2–21 days, followed by a remission period, during which the sores disappear. Genital herpes, however, is often asymptomatic, though viral shedding may still occur. After initial infection, the viruses move to sensory nerves, where they reside as life-long, latent viruses. Causes of recurrence are uncertain, though some potential triggers have been identified. Over time, episodes of active disease reduce in frequency and severity. Herpes simplex is most easily transmitted by direct contact with a lesion or the body fluid of an infected individual. Transmission may also occur through skin-to-skin contact during periods of asymptomatic shedding. Barrier protection methods are the most reliable method of preventing transmission of herpes, but they merely reduce rather than eliminate risk. Oral herpes is easily diagnosed if the patient presents with visible sores or ulcers. Early stages of orofacial herpes and genital herpes are harder to diagnose; laboratory testing is usually required. 20% of the U.S. population has antibodies to HSV-2, although not all of them have a history of genital lesions.[1] Prevalence of HSV infections varies throughout the world. Poor hygiene, overcrowding, lower socioeconomic status, and birth in an undeveloped country have been identified as risk factors associated with increased HSV-1 childhood infection. Herpes does not go away with time and cannot be cured. Vaccines are in clinical trials but have not demonstrated effectiveness. Treatments can reduce viral reproduction and shedding, prevent the virus from entering the skin, and alleviate the severity of symptomatic episodes. Herpes simplex should not be confused with conditions caused by other viruses in the herpesviridae family such as herpes zoster, which is a viral disease caused by varicella zoster virus.
i have, a lot of times..
You should of said you have the top version of it :)
Maybe the other chick mistook the tube-top for a skirt.
@#41: Yes it's annoying, but the comment moderators and the admins for this site do **** all thesedays. Here is a comprehensive list of all the current trolls. Call me sad, but I have a lot of free time during the holidays: Jandersonii Bloodthorn M13LO beardo backformorebitch LP95 *n00b*
Ever heard of IGNORING the trolls?
I totally agree with #29. Even though I don't wear tube tops, when I'm out shopping...I try to figure out whether or not it's a top or a skirt.
They're not ruining ANYONE's time... well, anyone on here who is intelligent. If you don't like their stupid remarks, then don't even bother to look at the comments. I'm not sticking up for them but merely trying to show you how dense your statement is. FML is just something to read and enjoy, and if you're all worried about how how someone hundreds of miles away from you is inanely replying to FMLs, then you're just turning yourself into one of them. Just sayin.
lol Hey #1 don't diss her, I did that once when I was like 8. Good thing too, the damn thing turned out to be a miniskirt. x)
I know you ppl are calling beardo8 as troll but you guys have to admit that is some really informative shit that he posted, yeah sure you can get that info on google but still the info is good. And no I'm not a troll! :)
YDI for being Canadian
#84's comment is a win!
you are a jerk. Canada kicks ass
Actually, I like their troll comments. They're entertaining to read, and often increases the post counts, since there's always the pious people that feel like they have to curse them out. Also, I kinda troll at times.
ive been to Canada i wore a canada shirt today i love Canada and all canadians you guys are just ignorant
" ive been to Canada i wore a canada shirt today i love Canada and all canadians you guys are just ignorant." Where do you get off calling all Canadian's ignorant? I guess it's true what they say about the quality of education in the United States then? Oh, sorry I guess that's pretty ignorant of me to assumptions about your entire country! You seem like a complete moron by the way you strung that sentence together.
# 111 Shut the F*** up ur such a loser go get a life
We got what she meant, regardless of her punctuation. It wasn't her punctuation that was rude...
number 1 took the words out of my mouth
Dont feed the trolls!!
I bet it looks good. ;P
To #1: it can be really easy. esspecially these days where skirt can be mistaken for belts. And to OP, youre not from Burlington are you? Cause I saw someone wearing what was clearly a skirt as a top a few months ago...
Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
Show it anywayOntario. The OP is from Ontario, so she was asking if they were from Burlington, Ontario
#4 does it matter if it's a skirt or not as long as it covers up the nessecary parts? I would say a skirt looks better than alot of other stuff people wear now adays.
if you think it's a tube top, it's a tube top.
I purposely wear one of my skirts as a tube top because my sister in law gave it to me as a gift (she lives a state away) and because the skirt was too small for my hips and has a strange cut to it I just wear it as a top and it looks good (and nobody knows the difference). I didn't have the heart to tell her it didn't fit so I just wore it as a top. I also managed to wear another skirt backwards for about two years because the tag was on the side of the skirt and I didn't realize where the zipper was supposed to go XD. Oh well I used to rock that skirt like nobody's business.
Really? Did it seriously look like a tube top? Well I suppose if it was one of those like flimsy super short skirts, I'd understand. And maybe everyone else assumed it was a tube top too? But if not, FYL. xD
My guess is you're blonde, because tube tops aren't usually in the skirt section of stores.
Men's clothing may be like that, but if you go into an H&M, Gap or Anthropologie you won't see anything in any sort of order. It's like IKEA they want you to see things as an ensemble so that you buy more.
#35 is right. If she got it on sale, it's on the clearance rack. There's no telling what it would be.
Walmart, Target, Kmart, JC Penney's, Kohl's are not clothing stores. They are department stores that happen to sell clothes.
"Why are you wearing it as a top?" Because you ******* want to. I don't consider this an FML. It's your favorite for a reason. Why should you start feeling bad about it now?
I agree with this, stop caring what other people think. FYL if it seriously bothers you that much.
