Next time? Never!

Today, my nineteen year-old daughter handed me a book on raising children and said, "Maybe you'll do better next time." FML

Well you must not of done too bad for her to realize that she's a horrible kid. Or you have raised her to be an entitled little brat that needs the crap smacked out of her.

She sounds like quite the ungrateful kid.....just wait til she has kids and they say the same thing to her. Unless you're abusive, or something along those lines, then I don't believe you deserved that. Sorry OP.

We can't really say if the OP is at fault here or not. I know my father would react appalled if I got him one of those books, but I also know he needs one because, yes my dad gave me all the necessities, but he treats me like a slave and his standards will always be too high.

The worst part is she said maybe, which means she ain't even confident you will improve

Hi guys I was the OP. Haha I didn't think this would get posted, my daughter and I laughed about it together. To all those implying she was pregnant or being rude, you are mistaken. My daughter and I have a pretty good relationship and we joke about it all the time. We were standing in a used bookstore when she found the book and handed it to me. I told her I'll buy it for her once she is a mom and she can thank me later.

If You are not expecting this is a really creepy choice of phrasing and delivery. Does she know something you don't? has she maybe been poking holes in your condoms.

Maybe she could not have existed without him. Just saying.
