Nice try, dude

Today, I was presented with a bill for $27,601 by my single, alcoholic, deadbeat father. Why? "For having to raise your goddamn lazy ass." FML

I read his words in Redds voice from that 70's show.

Charge him $35,000 for mandatory therapy from growing up with such an asshole.

How'd the bill get so high if your dad's a deadbeat parent? Deadbeats generally don't do shit for their kids. just buy him a bottle.

I usually hear that by he time your child is grown you have put almost one million dollars into their expenses, so looking at it from that perspective it's not high, although you should not pay it because if you raise a kid you're expected to pay for it, part of being apparent I'd assume.

lol I love the that's not high at all- you my friend obviously have never had a child just preparing to have the baby is about 5,000 roughly and that's if you have medical insurance covering the prenatal care, birth and hospital care for the child it's around 776,000 to care for a child for 18 years assuming they don't go to Harvard or Princeton

You're right, no kids. After seeing how much they cost and what little brats they are, I think I'm lucky as hell. Plus the fact if I reproduced, I'd give birth to to the evilest little shit ever.

Give him a bill to get off his DEAD LAZY ASS, and find a girl.

If it were me, I'd tell him to take that bill and shove it. There's no way I'd pay that kind of money for something like that. If he was that put out by having to raise you, he coulda given you up for adoption or something. There is no excuse for raising someone and expecting that person to cover the cost. He cannot sue you for that because there was never any legal agreement for you to pay him for that. It's the price he had to fork over for refusing to keep it in his pants.

Good idea. But OP could also tell his dad that he'll pay him $27,601 when his dad gives OP's grandpa $27,601!

children can't sign any legal contracts at all so only expenses after 18 could be sued for but without a signed agreement and for sake of not looking like a complete dead beat ass of a parent he needs to say lol j/k to his son

give him an envelope full of monopoly money and a condom. tell him it's his fault. sue him for being an idiot.

Don't pay that. You didn't ask him to raise you. You owe him nothing

wow sounds like something my parents would do to me

God, I love when parents pull that... Why do they even have kids, then??? And you must have been one hell of a cheap kid
