Um yeah, personally, I am very sorry. My boyfriend will be home in 3 months from being in Iraq for 7 and I've already asked for the full 2 weeks that he will be here off of work. I am sorry that she didn't think it was that important to see you. Thanks for all that you do.
#72, thanks. you pretty much summed it up. as i said before, me and my fiance are both marines, and when we get to see eachother we take advantage of every single second, for real. truth is, even though more marines die on liberty and leave, you never can guarantee your soldier, marine, airman, whatevers safe return. its weird to me that she wasnt sitting at the airport five hours early pacing around and running through every single moment they have ever had together, and what new ones theyre going to create!
and another boyfriend
for me it wouldnt matter if my bf was deployed or away on business ... if i hadnt seen him in six months id drop everything to go pick him up from the airport if he wanted me there you need a new girl one who appreciates you more, and glad you made it back safely :)
at #3, you dumb ****, he just got back from a 6 month deployment. congrats soldier, now confront that "girlfriend" of yours, if she didnt have the nerve to make arrangements ahead of time to go pick you up, then shes not worth it becasue she didnt think you were worth it
she doesn't have her priorities in order for you.. not a keeper you didn't deserve this and welcome back :)
#65, In US is joining the army mandatory (forced by law) to every healthy male at specified age or they join, because they want to join? If its not mandatory to join, isnt there any option to resign from army before notified about any deployment? because being in army pretty much means there is going to be a deployment sooner or later. We dont know the situation. Maybe she begged him for months before to change the job - just to resign and have another job and live with her. HE is in army, we dont know wether she supports it, or maybe has some of her own problems bothering her and she really wanted him to resign and stay, but he didnt. Of course if there is a legal option to resign. Now she at last has her own life. Maybe while he was away she got independent and he is not ready to be with a grown up woman whos life and wishes is in the same worth than his.

Aw...that sucks. But at the same time, good to see you got back safely soldier *salutes*
lol, at #3. No one takes intramural sports seriously. Certainly no one considers it a responsibility to play intramural sports where half the people show up drunk. This was a burn big time. You should take as much offense to this as possible.
