No future

Today, I had no idea my girlfriend had such a poor sense of humour until I pranked her by hiding a plastic spider in the kitchen, and she broke up with me and asked me to move out. She’s not even arachnophobic, so I don’t get her extreme reaction. FML

seems like there’s something missing here…

You don’t know her life story. It’s entirely possible that this reminded her of something triggering to her and made it a much bigger issue to her than it was to you. Also it just… wasn’t really a good prank anyway. A good prank is supposed to ens with everybody laughing, and freaking somebody out with a fake spider is unlikely to cause that.

a fake spider is harmless fun, unless she had some trauma event that you didn’t know about. over reaction for sure. sorry OP

OP, just what the hell good was going to come from that? You don’t prank the people you love.

the hell is everyone so judgemental about? it was one joke, and based on the fml probably the first ever. you're ALL over reacting. pranks are just light hearted fun. any of you ever try uh, having a loved one?

Sounds like she's had enough of your constant bullshit.

Are you sure this wasn't the final straw in a series of "my boyfriend is basically a child" acts?

That is exactly what I was thinking
