Today, I called the cops to let them know that a drunk man was driving dangerously down my road. About an hour later, I was going to the store and got pulled over for speeding by the cop I called. FML

Today, I called the police regarding people speeding down my street, because I was worried for my young kids. On the way home from my daughter's ballet class, I got pulled over two blocks away from my house and got a $150 speeding ticket. FML

Today, I was driving on the freeway when I saw a car in front of me swerving across 3 lanes of traffic. Thinking he might be drunk, I dialed 911 on my phone, but I dropped it. I fished under my seat to get it, swerving, and got pulled over by highway patrol and given a field sobriety test. FML

Today, some aggressive asshole was tailgating me on my way home, bumping into me twice. I got scared and kicked my car into high gear and got out of there. Seconds later, a traffic cop came out of nowhere and pulled me over for speeding. FML

Today, my father told me to take the car and get some groceries. An hour and a half later, coming home with the groceries, I see the cops all around my house because my dad had called them, thinking that I had run away and stolen the car. FML

How you could think that speeding (through the same neighborhood, no less) was any safer than a drunk driver is beyond stupidity. I vote YDI...although had you been a little smarter you could have tried to say you were trying to catch up to the drunk driver to get a license plate #....Doh! Doomass! Lol

Are you kidding me, #79? A narc? If someone is driving drunk, you should call the police. You could kill someone driving drunk. There was a lady who lost her entire family - husband, daughter, and newborn son - to a drunk driver. Being a "narc" could save someone's life. Speeding isn't nearly as dangerous as driving completely impaired. Plus, we all speed sometimes.
