No, just no

Today, I texted the hottest girl in the school saying, "I really like you, we should date". She responded with a text saying, "Sorry, I'm not into you." I then got a text saying, "Sorry, my brother stole my phone, and answered, but still it's no". I got rejected twice. Once by a man. FML

The "hottest girl in school"? Good thing to know you like her for more than her looks. And you texted her to ask her out? Smart move, Casanova. She sounds dumb though.. try and find yourself someone a bit nicer and ask them out IRL.

ripped. maybe you should've manned up and asked her IRL

i think it would have been worse if the brother said yes and then she was like 'oh, sorry, my brother stole my phone; the answer's actually no.'

Here's an idea: Get over it. Asking girls out via text = lose

YDI for asking via text. Wtf is wrong with you? Go take a chivalry class.

Good thing she's pretty cuz she's not smart don't worry ur way too good for her

Got what you deserved for asking over a text. Man up.

Yeah? So what? You got rejected by a man? Well, unless you bi or gay, that shouldn't be a problem. You got rejected by a woman not interested in you? The world isn't going to come crashing down around you. I give you huge kudos for getting the courage to ask, though. I had a crush on a really cute girl in HS and I only found the past month or so that she had a huge crush on me, too, and we probably would have hooked up if I had gotten the balls to ask her. I give her kudos for being honest about her phone being taken, and telling you the truth. Be retrospective.
