Today, my 18-year-old boyfriend freaked out and kept asking me if I was sure I wouldn't get pregnant, because I forgot to take my birth control pill last night. We didn't actually have sex; he apparently thought me simply missing the pill would magically get me pregnant. The hell? FML

If you had sex this week it's possible. Sperm lives in the body for a lot longer than you'd expect.

Sex education was lost on this poor soul

Actually sperm can survive for 3 days or so in your uterus. :)

Three days is the average, I think it can be up to seven in some cases.

Lol moment for truth. Say you are and see what happens

Taking. Birth control pills is not a smart idea!!!

Clearly health class is not doing its job, parents are not even trying anymore, and common sense has died out.

Actually you can get pregnant if you have had sex without a condom in the last 3 days or have sex without a condom for the next 3 days. Sperm can live in the ****** for 72 hours (normally less than 48 though). If you miss a pill or take a pill at the incorrect time, you should use condoms for at least a week.

And this is why sex education in schools needs to more than just "abstinence is key"

Sex education is really not teaching kids enough these days...

Technically you could get pregnant, he's not completely wrong.

I guess this is what happens when you date looks over intelligence
