Nostalgia

Today, I was excited about my friend going wedding dress shopping, so before I went to go work out, I decided to try on a prom dress from high school to remember what it felt like to get dressed up. It was too tight, I broke the zipper, and spent 45 minutes trapped before I cut myself out. FML

You do realise that your body changes. Even if you weighted less than you did in high school, your hips have changed, therefore you'll never be able to fit into teenage clothing again. That's why there's separate teen and women's sections....it's the cut of the clothing.

aww.. maybe you should have took it off when you realised the zipper was hard to do up?

if the dress is this big l l and u r this big l l then u surely would have realized u could not squeeze into it unless u rip it 2 shreds 2 get out of it

Oh nostalgia will be the death of everyone. You could probably make that into a pretty funny wedding toast however.

don't worry! It was still funny. this whole thing reminds me of those women that wear clothing that's way too tight and there's fat hanging out everywhere

Well, you won't be handing that one down.

I think it happens to everyone. It's not a big deal, though some people make it out to be a huge deal -eyeroll-

I can't help but feel really bad for you, i had to borrow an uncle's tux and it did fit and wound up breaking about half the buttons off

WELL, maybe that happened because you grew up...? Not everyone stays the same as they were in high school, and if they do they complain that people tell them they look 16 >
