Nostalgia

Today, I was excited about my friend going wedding dress shopping, so before I went to go work out, I decided to try on a prom dress from high school to remember what it felt like to get dressed up. It was too tight, I broke the zipper, and spent 45 minutes trapped before I cut myself out. FML

You do realise that your body changes. Even if you weighted less than you did in high school, your hips have changed, therefore you'll never be able to fit into teenage clothing again. That's why there's separate teen and women's sections....it's the cut of the clothing.

aww.. maybe you should have took it off when you realised the zipper was hard to do up?

At least your not like me. I'm 5'3'' and 85 lbs and pretty muscular so everything is too wide for me. I have been shopping for a dress to wear to a big party for 5 months and so far, everything has been too big. Don't worry about it. The best you can do is exercise, and if you do already, don't worry about this at all. Your bust may have grown since high school, your hips may have expanded, and you may have had kids. And so what if you gain a few pounds. I did too, even with my very high metabolism. I was eighty in high school and still had the same height.

you havent dressed up since high school grad? sad. even if you just graduated like last year, you put on that much wieght? and if it was years ago, you havent dressed up in years?............ k..........

#46 - You really do look like an idiot typing like that. It actually takes me longer '2 abreviat lik dis' because I am so used to typing like a real person. @OP: Ignore the comments about weight. I'm sure you're the same weight, if not less, than you were in High School. People change ;). I'm sorry the dress had to be cut; I'm sure it was beautiful'
