Not your fault

Today, I had to explain to a customer how our hotel charged his card, even though he has never stayed with us. Apparently his wife is a regular customer. I can't help but feel like a homewrecker. FML

Not your fault, OP. You're not the homewrecker - his soon-to-be-ex is. You're just doing your job when a cardholder asks why there's a charge from your establishment on his card.

That's between him and his wife. It's a common thing in hotel and hospitality field. She's stupid for charging the card in the first place. Hopefully he'll use this as ammo for divorce.
