OK Stephanie, whatever

Today, a co-worker superior to me called me "Stephanie" yet again. My name is Ashley. I politely informed her that my name is Ashley and subtly pointed to my work ID. Later, I get called into my supervisor's office. I got written up for correcting someone of higher status than me. FML

She's just looking for a power trip. I'd tell your boss the situation. Such a silly reason to get a write up. Its not your fault she can't read.

maybe shes butt ugly and jealous of you. and obviously a little dumb. oh well move on... its not like u did anythin bad.. call her Gertrude next time u see her..

you should look for another job. that's BS

Who were the people that thought you deserved that? What's their damage?

Its called being wrong! Even people higher than you need to understand that some things are just flat out WRONG.

#1, uhh thanks for the racism? poster of FML, that really does suck. Get a new job.

I would laugh. And eat the paper. And then take a dump and put it in his / her office drawer.

wow not only is that frivolous and retarded on their part but they actually think it was the right thing to do for you not to correct him... i have an idea when that guy misses something or makes a mistake, don't point it out so he ***** himself over, if he says shit tell him that ur not allowed to correct him and leave a smartass remark to make it stick like "well what u say has to be correct if i can't say that its incorrect" or "look at mr. i'm always ******* right, now" (I personally like the last one lol)

OKAY SO THIS IS BIZARRE! when i read this i thought MY FRIEND Ashley wrote this. Cause my mom always calls my find Stephanie but Her name is Ashley and just so happens that my mom works at the same place Except different department HAHAHA

This is exactly why I hate the business world. Just because someone is a superior to someone else, does not mean that the superior is always correct in every situation. If a person does something incorrectly, they should be informed, regardless of who is informing who.

I dislike companies that have such pusilanimous policies such as these. To think that in this economy you can get fired for correcting someone is ridiculous. Ugghh it annoys the poop outta me.
