Today, I was supposed to go in for a polygraph test as part of the hiring process to be a cop, but I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep. Finally two hours before the exam, I fell into a deep sleep, so deep that I slept through all my alarms. Worst part: I couldn't lie about sleeping in. FML

Everyone gets nervous, I'm sure you could explain that you were nervous and you didn't sleep well.

Explain to them the situation. Ace the polygraph and go be a civil servant my friend. Kind of sucks, hope things work out op.

I don't et he last part, you could t lie about sleeping in? But that's the truth... You don't need to lie about it and in theory try would be able to see that. I say in theory though because a polygraph is extremely unreliable wen ignoring the classic pin under the foot trick.

I don't get why there are so many missing letters. And there are much better, less painful ways to break a polygraph test, like think of something arousing during control questions.

I'm confused...you said you couldn't lie about sleeping in, but you did oversleep, so how would it be a lie?

He's saying he didn't want to admit that he slept in, but he has to because of the polygraph.
