Today, one of the guests I was in the middle of seating knocked an empty wine glass from the table. I assured them it was all right, and kneeled down to pick up the now broken glass. The lady insisted on helping, as far as picking the glass up and dumping the shards into my open hands. FML

it's ok. i've been used as a personal shopping basket. some woman came in and asked for help, and proceeded to dump things she liked into my arms. #1, they've got a real job. uncalled for.

Where else is she supposed to put it? Shards of glass can't cut you by just dropping them into your hand; the glass doesn't weigh enough. What a drama queen.

i don't get what exactly happened here... you were picking up glass, yet somehow you must have cupped your hands for her to put more shards in? what? and why wouldn't you use a broom and dustpan for cleaning up broken glass?

As long as she didn't stab your hands/cut you with the glass, i see no reason to complain other than the fact that she breached (probably unknowingly) restaurant policy.

WTF if i pick up glass from the floor i put it on my open left hand, so quit whining

39 thats the busboy's job ******

I call bullshit, glass being dumped on your hands has to fall a stupidly long distance to cut your hands, in which case, how (or why) would you have typed this? -.-
