Yeah, I don't think that's worth it
You can always get another job. If they won't give you a few days off so you an get married then the job and the company are not worth it. There will always be another job. But there may not be another love of your life and the wedding day you were meant to share together. Ditch the job and get married.
I have one rule when it comes to work and family... Family first. If that company won't work with you... (I'm sure you had already requested time off) then they are not a good company to work for...
I am trully sorry for you OP. I think it should be a team decision to make ( either pass on on the promotion or delaying the wedding), either way you guys can try talking to your wedding supplier to pay an extra fee to postpone the wedding, or talk to your HR and explain the situation ( just avoid ultimatums and be very objective) Best of luck
Kick the promotion out... Or talk to your boss.. If they have good heart they will understand
Why do people think it's a good idea to start off with that kind of debt anyway? It cost us about $200 to get married lol
Who says it was debt?? My fiancé and I have been engaged for 2 years to save for our wedding to avoid debt!! He has a very large family and we wanted the big wedding! I'm only getting married once, might as well go all out!!
there's no way I would be attending that training

Miss the promotion, get married
I do believe that due to how long you would have given your employer notice you may find that a quick chat to HR and explain your situation could mean the wedding is on still. Also if your job is forcing you to cancel tell them they will have to pay for it, they will let you go then.
