Protective

Today, while at the store with my mom and baby brother, a guy started to talk to me. Just as he went to give me his number, my mom handed me my brother and said, "Here's your son, your AA meeting's in an hour, let's go." FML

I thought I was quick... You go Mom! If you didnt have a comeback for that one, you must take notes from a Master!

Atleast a parent that actually controles her daughters life xD theyre rare

You're not supposed to co trial your kids life. You're supposed to raise them right, and then guide them in the right path. GUIDE > Control

I think the real problem is you are young and 'baby brother' really is your son! Get over it!

What are you talking about? She clearly said baby brother. Her mother just did that to get the guy to leave.

The level of how crappy this is totally depends on your age. If you are under 16, she had every right. Sorry, know that blows, but she's trying to take care of you. After 16... really, it's a bit over-protective, unless the dude was significantly older.

If my mom ever did that, I would never forgive her.

Promiscuous alcoholic is not a deal breaker

Well lucky for you that your mom was there to **** block some random kid who just wants down your pants...she actually prevented you from becoming a teen, unwed mom who'd probably end up needing AA...some moms can see the future...didn't you know that?
