If the commentary was along the lines of how **** is nothing like sex in real life, then I applaud your mother. Nothing wrong with watching **** IF you know the difference between fantasy and reality.

I mean unless you're very young still (I'd say 12 and under) there was no need for punishment. However that dies sound hilarious and unfortunately like something my own mom would suggest (as a joke however) in the same circumstance.
