Allow yourself the personal space to grieve the loss of your relationship you thought you had and even to be a little bit angry. But what’s most important is to figure out your next steps in your life… By the way, no matter what someone else did or didn’t do, only a childish fool damages another person’s property. You have no right to do that and doing so can get you into legal jeopardy and brand you as a nut job to stay away from.

I’m sorry I gotta ask, what’s with the men y’all choose? Like seriously? Yeah I get there’s no such thing as Prince Charming, but lately I’ve been reading stories of women with these trash men. Men who cheat, men who treat their partners shitty, men who don’t take care of their kids…like why are we putting up with this. Just be single instead. You make it sound new like "quiet quitting" (which used to be called "loafing.) It's one of the oldest male strategies! Telling the next girl you dumped your previous one doesn't work so well. Telling her you got dumped gets you laid 86% of the time. Sabotaging a relationship to get dumped is old news.

Breakups are hard, is there even a correct way to do it? I've seen someone's FML break up here for almost every possibility.

Alternatively, I've known guys who breakup out of the blue and that really seems to hurt the most.
