Today, it's my 7-year anniversary with my boyfriend. I was excited so I asked him what day it was and he said, "Wednesday?" FML

Some of the best surprises I've ever pulled off involved pretending to be oblivious. Hope this was the case in your situation. But maybe I'm just an optimist.

would have been funnier if he said hump day lol

Men don't care as much as we do about dates and anniversaries. My husband still can't remember my birthday. I've just gotten used to reminding him all the time until the day lol

Well, you did ask what day it was.

I'm somewhat sympathetic, but to be honest unless you have a date of marriage, not really considered a anniversary. What is the anniversary for people who are dating? The day you go on the first date or the day you become exclusive...?

He's a guy, don't take it personally. Girls create memories by linking them to emotions. You easily remembered because of your feelings for him. While to him the date of your anniversary and loving you are two completely different things. Don't mistake a memory lapse with a measure of how he values you.

It was at this point where this dude realized he done f*cked up. How the hell do you miss that? I mean, I can kind of get it if this was the first or second one, but f*cking 7? How???

If there was no lead up to the anniversary I don't blame him for forgetting. Did you talk about it coming up? Was it on the calander? I almost forgot my own last week. Lol

Why, it's Opposite Day! No-no one? O-okay... -slowly backs away-
