Today, I realized that I will never be able to buy the car I've wanted since middle school. The car? A greyish-silver Volvo, which is the make and color of car Kurt Cobain drove. The reason? I've been informed that it's also the make and color of the car that Edward Cullen drives in Twilight. FML

People who don't do things just because they are suddenly trendy really piss me off. You want a silver volvo, then, idea! BUY THE VOLVO! Why would you stop doing, or not even bother to start doing, something that you love just because all of the sudden it's popular/mainstream/overdone/whatever?? Don't pretend to be so above modern pop-culture that you can't even stand to buy a normal car. Yeah, it is a stupid franchise...so what? It will be back in obscurity once the last book becomes a movie. And why would you buy a car just because someone else drives it anyway? A real responsible person would buy a car that was a reasonable price with adequate gas mileage that runs well. And for all you Twilight haters out there, nobody is forcing you to watch it. So if you all obviously know so much about it and how stupid it is, it means that you at least decided to watch it once. Seriously, it's a movie and a book. Grow up and find a real problem to b*tch about.

Wow. I know I'm going to get a bunch of hate replies, buuuuuut there were BOOKS before the movies. And in the BOOKS Edward drives a BMW, not a Volvo. Only other cars mentioned to be owned by the Cullens were a Porche, an offroad jeep, and an Aston Martin Phantom.
