Shave your head, grow a goatee and get face tattoos. Unless your wife's dad had those then: grow hair, shave your beard and get face tattoo removal. I wish all problems had such easy solutions.

OP, unless you recently changed your appearance in a way that just happens to make you look more like wife’s dad, there has to be more to the story. I assume she did not meet and immediately marry you yesterday… While it’s possible that wife suddenly had a realization that you favor her Dad, I am betting that something else is going on… Not the same by any means - but after I met and eventually married my wife I finally figured out who she resembled. Turns out it was my sister my wife has a slight resemblance to. But that didn’t freak me out like your wife is freaked out. Either she’s having some sort of breakdown or there is something more to this story… By the way, ironically it might have been your resemblance to her missing father that attracted her to you in the first place. But for her to suddenly take this turn is very odd at best. I think it’s not impossible that wife has some other reason for this - “gaslighting” is not an exclusively male thing to do. You deserve a better explanation.

Um... she's just now discovering the resemblance? That seems pretty suspicious... and I've heard a lot of women will marry a man who reminds her of her father, but this is insane.
